So Ive heard the TI is slightly above but the LP6 (gold/plat) is maybe even a step below P6P, but at best the same level. I think thats why I was so shocked to find out I have a strong preference for it over P6P tbh.
Yes! Sus on P6P is shockingly natural and vocals are simply sublime. I do think its an acoustic only kind of experience though, and It wasnt crazy happy with complex tracks either.
Thats really interesting. TBH I dont read much talking about the P6P flavor, but IMO its quite strong. Like strong to the point of being (completely different than but) the same level of heavy handiness as holo stuff. Other than the classic NOS roll off, I personaly think the heaviest of the flavor comes into how exactly it stages with that very intimate, deep, and laser focused imaging (but less info in between images than it realistic imo). Its an utter champ at acoustic and realistic vocal density, but falls behind for other genres that I feel more neutral sources have less issues with. TBH, I think my ideal would be to keep the P6P and get an LP6Ti but I simply am not the kind of guy to use more than one portable chain so it makes no sense to do that.
It will be inline with the LP6. L&P says that they try and keep the tuning of the two lines separate and coherent, so LP7 will be a direct upgrade to LP6Ti and LP7Ti will be an upgrade to LP7 (all with the same general tuning)
That is at least on the road map but I dont think its expected for at least a year after LP7 finally drops.
