The atom+ is a more neutral clean take on a budget amp, well rounded overall without much to complain about, doesn’t really do anything wrong
The EL AMP II is a bit of an interesting case, it’s neutral clean leaning but has a bit of extra sweetness in the treble that takes a bit of the edge off, good control, good resolving power, good speed and separation, overall pretty nice for what it is

Agree!! My Atom is the only piece left over from my early days. Light, convenient and worth an early stop on the way up the ladder.
