I do wonder how it will fare given the price, thatās not a lot of room to work with given the price they ask, hopefully itās good, would be nice to see bt stuff get to the realm of actually good
Also stealth magnet deva is interesting, wonder if it will be a more relaxed he400se
Yeah, the original Deva with older BlueMini is $299, so they only increased the price by $30 for this new variant ā and you get stealth magnets, the R2R DAC in the new dongle, AND dual-entry ā I have to assume the old Deva just goes away, because itās hard to imagine saving $30 and losing the new features ā unless youāre just super in love with the original color
HFM seems to really aggressively target the budget side as well as the high-end, of course. I recall Resolve saying he preferred the HE-400se to the Deva, so itāll be interesting to see how the Deva Pro tuning is, whether a better, more refined HE-400se or a more refined Deva.
Actually, now that I think about it I think youāre right about it being tacky.
I could see the color way not matching a lot of setups, wouldāve been better if they copied the zen dac sig look.
Yah⦠canāt justify it when Iāve already out my interest in for the lp7ti thats around the corner but I would be lieing if I said I wasnāt majorly tempted here.
Ferrum audio was at canjam yesterday and I got a chance to talk to the North American rep. He told me they should be coming out with a DAC/AMP product very soon. Also, they plan to offer more higher-end offerings of their product lineā¦
Looks like a few new Beyerās, although unfortunately going the way of the 1.3 with the less capable but easier to drive drivers. Still interesting though, could be much more compelling since itās apparently around the 300 buck point. New pads and detachable cable are a plus
Man, at least they look so much nicer. I havent listened to a beyer since trying one out at B&H about 7 years ago, but nothing is compelling me to either.
