streamer/ddc from Matrix with wifi support

Streaming has come solidly into the mid-fi space and I’m very happy to have the very many new options available now. This was a very barren segment before with either very inexpensive solutions or very expensive solutions. :+1:

what, I was thinking about buying their current head amp, but that sounds great.

This new matrix range is really interesting to me. I just ordered an X2 Pure for an AIO front end for my 2ch set up, curious to see what the element is about.

Also…my god it’s hard to find a DAC/Pre set up (let alone streaming) that has auto wake/standby without going AIO…

I wonder what that is on the left… power supply maybe?

They are going for a campfire audio kind of look. I preferred the shell on the Mk II.

Yeah I preferred the original two model’s shells, hopefully it might just be a prototype or something  one thing it may allow at least is easier servicing, I’ve seen that be a focus for some brands recently like Fir audios new brand Bellos.

Looks really cool, cant wait for more details

More pics and overview towards the end of the page for the Yamaha DAC/amp…

Looks like the snake oil finally has reached a friction point called reality. What a shame.

I shed zero tears.

World's first headphones with lossless hi-res audio support launched: here's why they're special I’m not very optimistic about this one being anywhere good.

There is a new Axel Grell headphone in the making. Inside the cups looks really interesting with where the drivers are placed. Rumor to be $300 which is pretty dang sweet if that headphone is actually good. I am a fan of the Sennheiser HD600 sound (still is one of my top 3 favorites sound signature) so I am looking forward to this headphone!
