New Allnic mu-8r cables look nice and thicc! Didn’t ask to try them though because they’re most definitely out of budget. Currently only rca and xlr. Shy of $4k retail.

New utopia to be anounced september 15th. 5k RRP. Different impedence and sentativity so should be new driver. Shot an email to headphones.com to see if yhey will have one at canjam.

Edit: 80 ohm, 108 dB/mW 409g. So same specs as the old one. Wonder if this is litteraly just a chassis update…

I haven’t heard the Utopia, but I’ve heard the Clear and Clear MG side-by-side and the MG is worse than the OG, so um, I’m interested to see how people like the new Utopia. o.o

Was there anything that really required upgrading the outgoing Utopia? I never heard one, didnt like my time with the Clear MG as well, but it’s on my list to try one day…
