Looks like ps audio is releasing their own streamer called the āairlensā which I assume is coming soon (even if vid says out now).
Excited.
Isnāt the Mystique X/SE a pretty new product for them? Interesting that theyāre pushing hard like that on another DAC/AMP since itās seems like a small company.
I remember Benjamin previously stating that Mojo was always going to roll out a (more) premium DAC than the Mystique X.
This is just my guess, but I wonder if itās because they are trying to sell through dealers for the first time, and perhaps the dealers are asking for more product?
Thereās a common sales method of having a very high end premium device so it creates noise and recognition that can drive sales of the lower tier more reasonable products that attract a far wider audience. Always something to consider.
Iām all for it, I still own and enjoy the evo pro 21, would love to have a direct upgrade for it, but yes thereās probably a variety of reasons for a higher end model
He also said this:
"BTW, the pre-amp and attenuator stages on our next gen DAC will beat just about anything at any price.
I doubt youāre going to compare going through your existing pre vs our DAC/Pre alone and would want to go through your pre.
Thatās why it is going to have two chassis and cost so much: it will have a no-compromise pre with our no-compromise DAC. This thing is likely going to weigh over 50 pounds."

When it comes to product detail, the Mojo Audio web site sucks. I had no idea that the company had that broad range of DACs. Ben needs to get his as a better marketing person.
Yeah, its good and bad. I think it is really strict to the currently available products so now just the X models. But the product details looked like it had a decent amount of points to them. Well then again for the v2s it never said spdif OR usb
I mean I wanted to look up info on the Evo Pro 21 and thereās NOTHING.
Once its gone it is goooooone. It did look like he had pages archived as the 2xa page for the one demo unit was full fledged. A ālegacy unitsā page would be appreciated. Especially as there are tons of X, A, M, N, O, P 1-7 variants.
And now the video is gone. Strange
Mini update: to be released this month
Looks like they upgraded the U1 mini
https://www.luminmusic.com/lumin-u2-mini.html
- Transport-only LUMIN for combination with an external DAC
- The first LUMIN to feature our all-new processing system
- Faster processor provides greater resampling flexibility - upsampling and downsampling to every supported format up to DSD256/PCM348 to hit your DACās sweetspot
- Increased capacity for future updates
- New surface finish taken from the high-end P1
- Quad native clock system for precision timing
- 5 types of digital audio output including USB
- MQA Decoding
- Roon Ready
- Leedh Processing volume control
Looks like mostly higher bitrate support and more processing for resampling
Also a silky black finish from their high end units vs the brushed it is now.
So basically itās a new processor and a new finish. Everything else is the same.
Seems to be that way. Saves me from wanting the newer model, i dont do the resampling dance.
I own the Mini U2 since April (was quite early available in DE), but no dramatically changes to U1. Chassis foundation like they said from P1 and really solid. I donāt wanna open it to show inside pictures (trade it in again).
Power supply still not the best and should be replaced with usual ones (you loose warranty). I think it is not the optimal solution (have some decent cabling and tried NBS AES/EBU, as well Tiglon RCA) with the Weiss DAC501 and I go for Roon with Antipodes.
The power supply upgrade makes a huge difference with them.
