I know alot of people have had bad experiences with mmcx so thats fair but u have the Andros. Campfire does mmxc right imo!

Probably not, if itâs a tier above whatâs currently aval, that would be more of a signature upgrade/replacement. Iâd assume later on you might see a new base model with trickle down from the top, but for now I think you are in the clear with where itâs positioned lol
Do want to try it, really liked my sig bal when I had it, would like to see what they can do further (and now I donât even want a balanced version so itâs cheaper to try now lol)

I mean they definitely do it better than anybody else Iâve experienced, but that doesnât change the fact that all my cables are 2pin and i donât want to use adapters

I donât want to speak ill of it.
Unfortunately, Helmut Becker from Audiovalve fell ill last year and died in March.
Due to his illness, there were various problems in the company, and no one seems to be informed in any way about what will happen next.
As great as the amplifiers are, itâs better to ask how it looks before you buy it in this price range.
Because of supoort, repair and so on.
Otherwise, the assistant looks good and probably Helmut Beckerâs last masterpiece.
I didnât get the info personally and only heard about it myself through Headfi.
I was close to buying a Solaris at the time.

I thought there was another issue of AudioValve where people on headfi had returned their amps for service. Then the or A owner went through a divorce and all the companyâs assets were frozen including peopleâs devices under repair. I think one guy had his Solaris there and still hasnât received it back.
That should be considered theft!

Yes, I have read that too.
I donât know the state of affairs at the moment either.
It also seems to be complicated to get someone on the phone.
I think itâs really shitty whatâs going on.
Unfortunately, the people havenât reported any more, so either theyâre still working on it or theyâve written it off.
I wouldnât want to be in their shoes.

apparently a limited edition of the d8000 pro is coming along, same tuning but with a different material used for the earpad and some kind of gold plating in the earcup that supposedly will change the sound.
here is a translation.
