Yep, so many Dianas. But this is only 315grams without ear pads, no one uses ear pads right?!
I also think the Dianas look better without the oddly shaped inlayed sides.

It seems similar in concept to Axel Grell’s new design in the upcoming Drop headphone collaboration.
I mean it’s not like that hasn’t been done before with other hps, right?

I mean more it is interesting that they tilted the driver and not just made an angled pad since it looks like the pads on the headphone are specific to this model. But maybe the chassis itself wouldnt fit well if they did pads vs cups.

I think the fact that they depict some one gaming in the press material is probably indicative of the target audience.
I’m sure they see Audeze selling premium headphones targeting the market.
All the focals have tilted drivers, as do the HD800/HD820.

Looks like you can pre order the Axel Grell OAE1 right now. The website mentioned there is only 1000 in batch and people are saying it’s over 2000 pre orders already. I am pretty interested cause the design seem cool to me and $350 on preorder isn’t a bad price to try.
