I really like the looks on the purple Verite closed backs, those looks pretty nice.
Wow, thatās the final design? They look very similar to the D8000 Pro LE. I kinda like the minimalistic prototype design more.

Iām guessing you are thinking about the X8000, this seems to be a lower tier line below the 8000 line that follows the design of the current generation

Has anyone heard a pre-release version of either version of this cable? Thereās a standard and silver version of it, could be interesting.

I donāt know what percentage of palladium is in the audio cable, whether it is beneficial or not.
When I look at the drawing, I also see that there is plantinated silver.
Part of the strands of the Occ copper (7 cores) are pulled through in the silver tape.
The same applies to the palladium strand.
So, roughly speaking, the proportion is quite small.
I would say that the largest proportion is Occ silver and copper.
Zmf has always been very careful with its choice of cables.
The stock cable is the worst, the ofc is better but not outstanding, it lacks the final icing on the cake.
All the others offered separately are supposed to be better.
Personally, I use the Lectrik C for the Atrium and am mostly satisfied with it.
Of course, there are always better cables on the market.

I wonder if its anything like the Audio Technica BHA100
Both are hybrid tube $1000 amps with very similar power output and even connectivity options.
They could sound completely different though, I cant imagine what that sparkos sounds like but it probably isnt bright and midforward like the BHA100

The internals look remarcably similar to the soloist xgt just some and more better quality components, but same input and output designs.
That being said this is a twice as powerfull soloist 3xp, and in my opinion the 3xGT failed to deliver a much improved soloist 3xp. BUT this new flagship does look like substancial upgrade to the soloist 3xp with probably the same signature.

Given the components and the finish etc, it does look like the price is justified. I just not feeling the angular aesthetics of it at all.

This is what the Soloist 3X GT should have been in the first place, instead of being crippled by that damned fan. The fan was such a bonehead design choice IMO, as it seriously impacted the overall enjoyment of the amp. It also canāt help but have impacted the perceived noise floor, in spite of whatever the actual measured one is.
I donāt mind the aesthetics of it, but not crazy about the price increaseā¦ If anyone gets it Iāll be interested in what they have to say.
They look pretty sweet, IMO.

The Duo pads also look roomier than the Elite Hybrid pads (my ears would touch the drivers on those).
