Helloo. Just tossing this out there in case anyone has a line on some help, but I’m looking for someone with some dealer connects for Hifiman hoping to not pay retail on a Shang Sr. I’m in contact with Hifiman right now and they’re bending a little on MSRP, but not as much as I would have hoped and was wondering if anyone here had any advice on where or who to turn to. Any help is very much appreciated.

Keep looking, I’m sure someone is sitting on a pair collecting dust they would be happy to let go of. Cash is king for some people. That helps. Good luck 
Hifiman regularly has sales that are worth checking out.
Sometimes you can even get a Suvara for $2,000 less.
You just have to be patient.
After posting this, I got a response from Hifiman that’s so good that I’d have to probably buy a plane ticket and pick a set up in person with a stack of cash to beat it. Honestly kinda shocked about what they offered me, but in their defense it was with an addition to a remedy to an issue I was having.

Great news and another plus publicly for HiFiman 
I too have had good interactions w/ them when getting warranty repairs. I needed them a bunch of times but they took good care of me to their credit each and every time . Congratulations!
