I am extremely impressed with Infinity. It excels so much on both macro and microdynamics as well as timbre.

Nice nice glad you are enjoying it, personally Iād put itās technical ability a bit above the thummim but not at like traillii level
Something I wasnāt expecting, but infinity mk2 on 13r is actually pretty incredible. easily the most organic/natural presentation Ive ever had out of iems. Wa8 was good, but this is a whole other level. TBH I could 100% see myself using these for work and just ignoring over ears for a bit. I also find the lack of separation I get on the 13r->sus to be a complete non-issue on the infinity too. Its pretty interesting and compelling overall IMO.

I just sold mine and now that it has left the house, I have a feeling that I will miss it very much.

Question for all yall desktop iem users. How high do you think iems scale? I am asking this off the back of my infinity mk2/13r experience. Idk how much of that was amp and how much was dac but the step past p6p ā wa8 was pretty substantial so im currious where you guys personaly call the line for totl iems
Depends on the iem, some will go high and some will taper out.
For an infinity I donāt know if thereās really a clear line, out of my current desktop gear Iād say my favorite pairing for it is the oji special + totaldac, that really is an extremely fun but capable pairing and does handle it pretty well overall. I also enjoy the mojo to mass kobo for that iem too

Oh, obviously. I was more of currious (for people that have played with totl iems on desktop gear) where they call the line for āworth itā. Obviously this is crazy subjective, just currious everyone elseās take as I would honestly lean towards sagra->13r being āworth itā for infinity alone (obviously there may be better options for the price out there, not like I have a ton of desktop experience)
Iām a little suprised that the oji plays well with that low of impedence tbh. I guess the next question though is, do you personaly feel the quality is worth it for either combo if you didnāt have any other cans to use on it? This is purely a currious question for me
Likely not, Iād prob downgrade the level of dac and amp, likely an amp in that 5-7k range and dac as well, so perhaps like your setup but with the sagra swapped out for the next step forward dac wise might be were I would reasonably call it. Could it still get a bit better? Sure but thatās really losing value prop

You know I was wondering about this ever since i tried the ie900 on the allnic amp (which just scaled like nobodyās business btw). As m0n mentioned it depends on the iem as you already know, and in no way do I think that buying an allnic would be worth it for the ie900 alone. For me, hps are mainly what I prefer but if it ends up working well for the iem unexpectedly then all the better.
