That sounds perfect. I’d buy it just as pcb as getting the BOM in the EU from Mouser saves me a lot.

Also look at the audio note kit DAC’s i know a guy that has 4 or 5 built and uses them with some really great success and equipment

One comment regarding parts from Mouser vs a kit from the store - Nelson prefers the Harris output devices and that’s what the kits will come with. The parts are currently only available in orders of several hundred from Digikey. There are Vishay versions at Mouser that can be bought with no minimum quantity but there’s no feedback yet about if/how they sound different.
I can imagine how cool it would be to have your own DIY chain.
Good tip. I could buy the case in the EU at any rate to save on import duties.
I am definitely hoping to build a power amp and perhaps one day if I can afford to import it a Bottlehead kit. One thing I really liked about building the Whammy was how much I learnt about how class A amps work.

They go on sale 2-3 times a year. Not sure if one of us buying it and shipping it to you would be less expensive.

Good to know, I will keep an eye out. For shipping everything depends on how much the declared value is plus postage. They don’t make a distinction between private and commercial any more as with the rise of internet shopping and people shopping globally they want to protect smaller businesses.

On the post “Step 3” PCB Part 2 of Jan 2022, the picture is showing the installation of LED + Resistors for the PSU section.
While building mine, i wanted to “fill of the PCB” but better reading the build instruction https://guides.diyaudio.com/Guide/WHAMMY+(Prior+to+June+2025+Kits)/3 step 7, 8, 9, 10, it appears one shouldn’t fill everything but choose between different options.

Did you change that part later or are you still with all components stuffed ?

You are right when you say:
My pcb recreation above of the circuit includes all the options but here (and in my original build) I went with the LED option. If you have have questions about the different options and which to pick I recommend the support thread on DIY Audio you link to They are super helpful and that thread has huge amounts of knowledge in it.
