No, but i did see it. Things i wanted to listen to but didnt:
Final’s new 100000000 model (long line)
Senn HE-1 (sign ups were full by the time i bought a ticket)
Any Warwick Acoustics (they even had a nice isolated booth for listening)

Last I checked they weren’t able to continue that project because the manufacturer that was supposed to build their diaphragms couldn’t do it… guess they found a way around it!

Yeah I agree with that. The B setup was a nice step up for me but then C was just a bit too forced and unnatural sounding although I did think it got better in ways like bass impact and stage size. Was cool to try their stuff though but the choice of headphone and amp seemed a bit lo-fi next to the rest of the setup.
I stuck around for their giveaway and walked home with a SR pink power cable so need to try that out in my system

I agree there, bass had a bit more “hit” to it and stage width was more appropriate. The rest is best described as you said “forced”.
I have been finding a lot of the high-mid to higher end stuff has taken two big paths. The bigger, in your face, (imho) more forced sound and then there is the how quiet, black and expansive can we make a sound a la the woo x abyss combos. I am very much a fan of the later.

It’s funny you mentioned it being low-fi. I kinda told Ted the same thing before the show. I said I don’t know how well that chain would be received, as the McIntosh amps are kinda seen as meh in the hp community. He’s more of a 2ch guy so I figured I’d give him some insight in the hp space.
His thought process was if the SR gear could make a decent chain sound better then it would show how well his gear/tweaks can improve even better systems. I just think it would’ve been better if he had gear that attracted more to the booth/display.
I do want to try one of the new PowerCells and cables. Maybe try the 8 before the 12, but idk. I’ll get there eventually. Want to finish up some room treatments first.

I think calling them meh in the headphone space is underselling it. Seeing their amp gives lots of headphone people the impression its not even worth visiting tje booth. Upscale audio found the same thing and no longer brings the amp

I was being polite 
I knew it would be more of a turnoff than something from woo, feliks, etc. You can show your products in tiers with the same chain but you need to get people to the booth. As soon as I heard Mcintosh I said NO! lol.
