Thinking about buying K371 for travel and portable use on the go. Might use for studying in spaces where outside noises are bothersome. I thought they might be decent all-rounders because of the Harman tuning (I personally like harman), but I did see a lot of youtube reviewers said the quality control was bad and they had to get several pairs before getting a good pair. Does anyone know if this is still an issue or has it been mostly resolved now?
Edit: I thought about the Focal Elegia but since I mainly listen to higher energy stuff like metal and bass-heavy electronic I figured these would fit that role more. Unless someone else thinks there is another competitor at this price point (K371 are on sale on amazon for $145 USD currently.).
Not at the same price level as the K371 but closer to the Elegia in price, I just bought an ETA semi-closed for travel and OTG. It’s very light and folds too, which makes it easy to throw into a backpack compartment.
I mean for slapping on cheap earbuds they do slap the name on some quality products not gonna lie I’ve been daily driving their tws iems for like 2 years now and gotta say after lightly eq’ng them with some software they sound great and have been fairly reliable while I work.
Those do look nice. I would be looking for something that is full closed-back with good isolation and comfort though.
Yeah I would do IEMs if I could but I have just never been able to get them to fit in my left ear. It’s got a weird shape.
