That is some squeaky clean looking maple
Nice color combo, you tend to see so many darker wood builds but it looks very clean and happy in the light maple with the gold.

Actually I’m happy with the wood too.
Visually, maybe the rods in black would have been better, then the brass with the light wood would probably have come into its own a bit better, I think.
Sound-wise, I just went through all 3 amps as a listening test.
I will post more in the Zmf threath.
I think it is pretty perfect as is! And remind me of these days…
Depending on what finish ZMF used (mine had a card telling me which it was) it can get a slight amber touch to it warming up the look and really making it match your hardware well. The guitar in the cabinet to the left is a good example of this.

It’s the default theme for the HiBy RS6. It is pretty nice, I usually don’t like themed Android, but I’m sticking with this one.
As a guitar, I find the wood very beautiful, really smooth and silky.
I had thought about it, actually I wanted copper but they didn’t offer that, I would have found that super nice with the light wood as an accent. It would have been really classy too.
I had to choose between black and brass.
Something about black bothered me so I decided on brass.
In retrospect, the brass also covers the contrast between the light wood and the black leather strap very well when I took a closer look at it.
My impressions today were a bit overloaded.
Personally feels like the prettiest Auetuer I’ve seen, mainly because it’s such a unique simple looking wood!

Yes, that’s kind of true.
But you never know exactly what you’re going to get.
You have to trust in the trained eye of Zmf.
This keeping it simple is perhaps due to the fact that Zmf have hired him temporarily.

On the other hand, I’m glad because if I buy another one, it will be darker in the wood.
This is going to earn some long drawn out sighs and head shakes from @NickMimi , but I am selling my Cary Monoblocks tomorrow and bought this in its place. Taking my sound in a slightly different direction.
F @NickMimi what does he know? You know the direction you want to go, that’s the only thing that matters. Nothing wrong with SS if they have the sound you’re searching for. Want to change the sound? Change your speakers. Not the tubes. He knows about changing speakers.
Speaking of which. I am still waiting to see your backside with an FTA sticking out of it.
That’s gorgeous, i’m pissed that you didn’t at least give me the chance to throw some $$$$ at you for those mono-blocks, they would look gorgeous in front of my fireplace! The new amp looks awesome too, i’m sure you will love it! 
Next will be the speakers, then the cables, then the pre-amp and so on and so forth 
It’s a game we play, i eat my words all the time in this place…
