Yes it arrived with a problem in the XLR inputs. It was fixed in the US but I’m going to insist that it goes to Italy this time for a full check

Any impressions on the MPD8?
This is my current system as I figure next steps and budget. Aurender A1000 as server and DAC into Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 doing amp duties with RoomPerfect calibration. It also has a phono input for the turntable. Sounds very good for the money.
I missed this. Will add impressions this weekend. I sold the DAC yesterday because I needed the money but have hundreds of hours on it so will share a bit of what I heard. tl;dr is it’s amazing and well worth the money

Did you let go of the Levante?
No I’m waiting for a new one to ship from Riviera since mine had some problems and the dealer pushed to get a brand new unit. Haven’t decided what to do with it but most likely will sell it too for money. I’ll be more sad to let Levante go over MPD8.

I obviously don’t have the Levante but it would be hard for me to let go of the MPD8 before the AIC10. It’s an amazing DAC. It’s not even close to any of the other DACs I’ve owned. Rossini + clock can’t keep up IMO.
