Were you able to listen to the discrete at all during the premier purchase?

I have the discrete and love it but the premier is always tempting me plus there’s an appeal to having one power supply rather than 2.

I wasn’t but I’ve heard they’re not that far apart. I also heard the real jump is between the Premier and the Reference. But I’m happy with the Premier regardless. I also think the power supply and modules play a part in the SQ.

How big was the difference between the RCA and XLR outputs into the aic?

Im feeding the Riviera levante with the msb at present via XLR and always been curious as to the/or any differences between the inputs on the Riviera.

There was zero difference sound wise. I did use an XLR-RCA adapter before MSB sent me the actual RCA output module and i could hear a difference. But once I installed the MSB module, it sounded just as good.
