The hifi and hifi plus are the same after 10 April. I think thatās a good deal. Itāll align with Qobuz prices but I feel Tidal is a bit better all around.

Thatās because you were paying the 5.99. I was paying for hifiplus and since theyāre lowering that tier and combining it with the hifi one, itāll be 13.99 going forward. You had a discount so youāre getting the 10.99. I will soon to tho lol.
No, Iām the veteran so no dependent id. I donāt think you can combine discounts.

Gotcha. I have that as well. I emailed them and asked if this was true, regarding them removing the discount.
I got an email from Tidal yesterday letting me know my discount would be going away once the new $10.99 pricing begins. Iām currently paying $11.99/month, so after 4/10/24 Iāll be saving $1/month. Sounds good to me.

If you use apple and your subscription is through them then itās 30% more. Thatās why my email said $13. Tidal said I can just swap my payment method and Iām good. Kinda crazy that thereās a difference.
Theyāre just passing on the ammount Apple takes.

Very cool, his recent Compactron line also has a few DAC configurations and less money than the heritage line. Heritage line is between ā¬15k-ā¬20k, Compactron is over ā¬7k.

I like the way they never update the links, just the content.
Interesting they still offer the 4 variants, but theyāve stopped doing that for the higher end stuff.
Also a bit unfortunate theyāve cycled through Amber versions quite so fast, the Amber 3 was current 3 years ago, and there now on the 5.
Itās nice they have a decent trade in policy, but that comes across a bit too fast to cycle through the 4.
