Yes, since this year they have been popping up like mushrooms.
X years ago I wished for something like this when I could still wear them.
Not any more, but in the end Iād rather see that than the Air pods.
I see enough people walking around with them.
Iām a bit surprised, even though the choice has become huge and some brands have established themselves.
This trend will also subside again.
Even though I understand that there are some people who donāt want to sacrifice quality when theyāre out and about and donāt want to put on headphones to achieve that.
Never too much IEMs imo 
personally prefer their presentation and comfort to headphones in general

Grado is doing a thing.
These seem to just be very expensive SR80xs or the Pokemon center website just copy pasted something that doesnāt have the correct info, which considering the models in the pictures are all wearing the headphones backwards is very possible.
I hope itās the latter since these look rather nice imo and it would be a bad look for Grado to sell there budget model at such a huge mark-up with little more than a big brand name slapped on.
Another thing that makes me think this is just a bad copy paste is the prices look like the wood ones are around an RS2 and the metal ones an SR325. Hopefully if this is a mistake it will be corrected soon.

Quite a few limited Grados have cosmetic differences only, usually those collaborated ones. For example the E&J Coogi is sonically identical to RS1e.

Am I the only one thinking that the pokemon branding doesnāt justify a 200 buck (at minimum, 400 buck for the wood) upcharge for an essentially 100 dollar headphone? This seems crazy to me

You probably arenāt the only one. For good reason too. But theres ton of die hard PokĆ©mon fans like me that donāt mind because we are die hard. PokĆ©mon was my favorite shit for the longest time, i own like 7 PokĆ©mon movies and played most og PokĆ©mon games. PokĆ©mon was snd still id s huge part of my life

I can see why it would be appealing but itās not for me. I was a bit before PokĆ©mon so didnāt get into it. However if there was a Grado limited edition of something else that I was into then I could see myself getting that.
