Ok so I have a few valid comments for you guys on the Hyposis and the Oor. I am the one who made the quoted comment above on head-fi about the gain issues and volume jumping. Also I never used capitals so I wasn’t being loud or yelling!
My unit is back with my dealer right now to have the entire board replaced. I tried to get a new unit but cases must be scarce right now and it was more expedient for them to replace the board.
Onto impressions. The Oor without the Hyposis isn’t any better then an A90 to my ears necessarily. With the Hyposis it is several notches better in blackness in the quiet parts and dynamics. Before my gain issues it powered my Susvara incredibly well at 12 o’clock on the dial.
The front isn’t cork. It’s metal. It’s not rusted metal but a hammered steel that has that rust look. It is a great compliment to my Holo Spring 3.
Great sound, great versatility with the Hyposis, and great form factor and size for a headphone setup. Quality control is an issue. When it first arrived it had a single main board screw loose in the case. I had to open and reinstall the screw. They will get their shit together I’m sure, the product is too good not too.
In the meantime let’s get some Holo Audio Bliss talk going?! Anyone with info?
