Cowon Plenue dap thread, S / L / P2Mk2 / D2 / D3

Do you think an iBasso battery would work?

I have no technical knowledge of components or what will or will not fit in the chassis. Mine needed to be modded to fit.

So the email I found apparently doesn’t exist anymore do you have any way to contact Steve?

I know this is a complete shot in the dark, AND a coinflip at best

but you the itch is back again and I just cant get it off

@Souldriver do you think this is legit?

Most of these stores have fake photos, descriptions, everything, but this one has the rare 100% positive ratings. Even tho the product might not be as pictured, my itch would be scratched with a functional product.

Also you’ve told me many times I could start with any other model as my first Cowon but I just have this fixation with the Plenue L thats very hard to share off, the only other one id consider is the Plenue 2 mk2 from the same store.

Legit or too risky?

Tbh, no clue and i do not know how the L or 2 mk2 sound but that is when they started to do newer and dual dac chips.

I only found the good cowons used, one from canada, another from england. There were more in europe and asian markets, they were harder to find in the US.

So coin flip it will be

Just not yet I need to arrange my expenses

You can try one of the less expensive ones too. The plenues were all mostly good except the ones they tried to sneak extra android type features on. The older ones are also smaller and much more pocketable.

this is an extreme pet peeve of mine, I really want the 4.4mm jack, I have ALL of my cables bought in the last 3 years 4.4mm terminated.

If I dont get this one because I have a lot of expenses going on, and it seems to be their last stock, ill get one on May when a very good friend goes to akiba, he saw plenty of cowons last time.
